This Privacy Policy describes how the GitStars Memo Chrome Extension ("Extension") handles your information.
## Information We Collect
The Extension collects and stores the following information locally on your browser and syncs it to your Google Account using Chrome's storage sync feature (`chrome.storage.sync`):
* **GitHub Repository URLs:** The URLs of the GitHub repositories you choose to add memos to.
* **Memos:** The text notes you write and save for specific GitHub repositories.
We do **not** collect any personally identifiable information (like your name, email address, or GitHub account details) directly. The memos you create are stored solely for your use within the Extension.
## How We Use Your Information
The collected information (repository URLs and your memos) is used solely to provide the core functionality of the Extension, which is allowing you to associate and view your notes with specific starred GitHub repositories directly on the GitHub website.
## How We Store Your Information
Your repository URLs and memos are stored using Chrome's `storage.sync` API. This means the data is stored locally in your browser and automatically synced across your logged-in Chrome browsers via your Google Account. We do not have access to this data stored in your account.
## Information Sharing
We do **not** share your collected information (repository URLs or memos) with any third parties.
## Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
